We seeking an energetic and people-focused Human Resources Generalist to join our HR team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys recruiting top talent, creating an exceptional onboarding experience, and partnering with leaders and team members across the organization.

 

The ideal candidate is highly organized, collaborative, approachable, and thrives in a fast-paced hospitality environment. This position plays a key role in supporting team member engagement, staffing initiatives, and HR projects while helping maintain a positive and professional workplace culture. Starting hourly rate is $23.00; final rate will be based on experience.

 

 

Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish is required.

Responsibilities

  • Lead full-cycle recruiting for hourly and salaried positions
  • Create job postings, source candidates, coordinate interviews, and manage hiring logistics
  • Conduct onboarding and orientation for new team members
  • Support team members and managers with HR-related questions and guidance
  • Assist with employee relations, engagement initiatives, and recognition programs
  • Partner with department leaders on staffing needs and workforce planning
  • Support HR projects, training programs, compliance initiatives, and process improvements
  • Maintain employee records and HR systems with accuracy and confidentiality
  • Ensure compliance with California labor laws, company policies, and hiring practices
  • Translate and communicate HR information clearly in both English and Spanish

Qualifications

  • Bilingual in English and Spanish required
  • 2+ years of Human Resources experience preferred
  • Recruiting and onboarding experience strongly preferred
  • Hospitality or resort experience preferred but not required
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
  • Professional, approachable, and service-oriented demeanor
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HRIS/ATS systems
